Philips to launch the new airfryer for great tasting food with 80% less fat For fast, convenient, tasty cooking at home, the Philips airfryer allows
you to enjoy delicious and simple fried foods without hassle or mess
Sydney, Australia – Philips, with its reputation for delivering innovation and simplicity to Australian homes, announces the April 1 launch of the Philips airfryer, a revolution in home cooking. Integrating intelligent design components and leading technology, the Philips airfryer is a welcome kitchen addition for anyone looking for a convenient way to prepare tasty snacks or even entire meals.
At the core of the airfryer is Philips' patented Rapid Air Technology, which combines fast-circulating hot air with a grill to prepare best tasting fries and snacks with up to 80% less fat. Since the airfryer removes the need to use extra oil while cooking, it offers a safer and more economical alternative to conventional frying.
"Philips prides itself on developing appliances that fill a need amongst consumers, and the airfryer is testament to our dedication. In creating the airfryer we have focused on what is really important to consumers when it comes to kitchen appliances – devices that help you to create great tasting food without mess or fuss," said Peter Bosscher, Senior Manager, Business Development, Personal Care & Domestic Appliances, Philips Australia & New Zealand.
Catering to the needs of modern families, the airfryer prepares a batch of great tasting fries in just 12 minutes . Thanks to the fact that hot air is used to prepare food rather than oil, the airfryer emits fewer vapours and odours. Once the food has been cooked, the airfryer's easily removable, non-stick and dishwasher-safe parts make cleaning up a hassle-free experience.
The airfryer features a timer which lets you pre-set cooking times of up to 30 minutes, so you can focus on other tasks while your food is being cooked to perfection. You can also interrupt cooking to check on progress whenever you want, keeping you in control and ensuring you get the results you want. The adjustable temperature control lets you pre-set temperatures, while Rapid Air Technology cooks food with steady heat to ensure crisp and even cooking. Making it even simpler to prepare every part of your meal, Philips airfryer includes a food separator accessory that allows you to prepare multiple foods at once without the flavours becoming mixed.
For inspiration, Philips airfryer comes complete with a recipe book filled with 30 tasty and easy to prepare recipes for the family.
